Starting his career as the 2000 Little East Conference Rookie of the Year, Andy Lang was a four-time All-Little East Conference (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003) infielder and earned All-New England honors from 2000 through 2003.
Serving as team captain during the 2003 season, Lang helped USM to trips to the NCAA Division III World Series in 2000 and 2001 and a four-year record of 128-59-1. During the 2000 season, Lang’s rookie year, the Huskies compiled a record of 35-14, and 2001 a record of 37 wins and 14 losses.
After his playing days at Southern Maine came to an end, Lang spent some time in the professional ranks playing for the Kalamazoo Kings Organization and the New York Mets Organization. Still active in the world of baseball, Lang has served as an assistant coach at Fordham University, and presently the General Manager of the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League, helping the Gatemen capture the 2018 Cape Cod Baseball League Championship.
A William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete, Lang graduated Southern Maine with a degree in history, and continued on in his education earning a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. An Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Lang, Xifaras and Bullard, Lang is a member of the New York State Bar, Massachusetts State Bar, and is an active member in four Federal Courts.
