Susan Ware Page, Basketball, Class of 1999. A starter on the Huskies’ 1998 NCAA basketball national finalists’ team, Ware Page helped the Huskies win four straight Little East Conference championships and compile a 104-15 record during her four years as a Husky. Ware often drew the top defensive assignment and did the “little things” that made the Huskies a dominant team. During her four-year career, Ware played in 109 games, starting 60, and averaged 6.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. She averaged 7.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in 32 games during the 1997-98 season that culminated with USM hosting the NCAA Division III Final Four and playing in the national championship game before a standing-room-only crowd. She came back the following season to average 8.2 points and 6.4 rebounds in 28 games, and was named to the LEC all-tournament team.  Ware scored in double figures 25 times, including a career-high 19 points against Colby College in the 1998-99 season, and pulled down 10 or more rebounds on 13 occasions.
