Ed Guiski of Dexter, class of 1964, stills holds the USM career record for rebound average (15.2). He teamed with Ray Bishop to lead the Huskies to a combined entry of 39-6 over the 1962-63 and 1963-64 seasons. He was MVP and team captain in 1963-64. Guiski has spent the last 20 years at Dexter Regional High, where as basketball coach he has won more than 200 games and has qualified for tournament play more than 15 times.
