Winning countless individual titles and accolades, Ruginski earned All-America honors in the long jump and triple jump during the 2014, and 2015 Indoor Track & Field National Championships, and the 2014 and 2015 Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  Claiming his first national championship in the indoor triple jump in 2014, Ruginski repeated the feat during the 2014 outdoor championship, and 2015 indoor championship.  During the 2015 outdoor national championship, Ruginski claimed the title of National Champion for the fourth time – this time in the Long Jump.

Over the course of his career, Ruginski was named the Little East Conference Field Athlete of the Year three times, and was twice named the USTFCCCA Men's Division III Field Athlete of the Year.  Capping off his outstanding career at the 2025 outdoor national championship with another title and pair of All-American honors, Ruginski was named the USTFCCCA Men's Outstanding Field Performer of the Year at the Division III Championship.
