MICHAEL BUNKER, Class of 2006, Cross Country, Indoor, Outdoor Track & Field

An All-American in the 3000-meter steeplechase, former Husky track and field standout Michael Bunker won numerous all-conference and all-region honors for his performances and was the Little East Conference champion in several events.  Bunker’s ability on the track is still upheld with a meet and facility record in the 3000-meters with a time of 8:44 set during the 2006 Little East Conference Indoor Championship. Bunker still holds the Huskies’ school record in the 5000-meters set at the 2005 ECAC Division III New England Championship with a time of 15:17 – which at the time was the fifth fastest time in the nation. Still competing, Bunker is a member of the Zap Fitness Racing Team. A 2006 graduate with a degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Biology from Southern Maine, Bunker is employed by Evergreen Home Performance.
