John Sylva of Gambia, Africa, class of 1987, is the Huskie’s all-time leading scorer on the soccer field. From 1974 to 1977, Sylvia nailed 46 goals and 15 assists for a total of 107 points. In 1976, Sylvia led the Huskies to the Rose Bowl for the NAIA National Soccer Tournament. The business major now works for the government of Gambia.
