John A. Martin 1985, John Martin played four years with Dave “Dusty” Drew’s USM Huskies, captaining the 1983 and 1984 baseball teams. His work ethic and determination earned “Gentleman John” the respect of his teammates and opponents. The solid third baseman was a three time all-conference selection, along with two District 5 selections. Martin graduated from USM in 1985 with a B.S. in elementary education. He is now a senior claims supervisor for AMICA Mutual Insurance Company in Worcester, Mass. john and his wife Kim reside in Auburn, Mass.
