Southern Maine Athletics

Don Donnelly of Portland, Class of 1963, scored 1382 points during four seasons on the basketball court. Donnelly was class president in 1960 and a member of the Varsity G Club. The MVP and tri-captain was a key player in the school’s successful bids for a Northern Division Championship and the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship. Donnelly, who now teaches at Mahoney School in South Portland, was a Fulbright Exchange Teacher of New England.
