Lisa Abrams Spaulding, 1989- Lisa Abrams Spaulding is one of the more gifted athletes ever to play sports at USM. She started her career as a field hockey player, but a knee injury forced Abrams to concentrate on softball. She went on to become a three time All American, and she still holds 11 records for USM. Described as a “thoroughbred” player, Abrams is arguably the most potent offensive player ever to wear a USM softball uniform. A 1989 graduate with a B.S. in industrial technology, Spaulding is a CAD manager for Weld-Rite/Zajac. She resides in Windham with husband David.
