Clif Hall, 1953- Clif Hall graduated from Gorham State Teachers College in 1953 after being a standout in basketball and baseball for the Hilltoppers. Hall, one of the top college athletes during his era, played basketball for fellow Hall of Famer John Bodnarik and was an imposing pitcher for the baseball team. Hall continued to participate in sports, later becoming a successful umpire. The retired vocational director, who holds a master’s degree in vocational education from the University of Maine, resides in Bridgton with his wife Anne.
