Athletic Communications

The University of Southern Maine Office of Athletic Communications handles all of the media and public relations of the Huskies' varsity athletic teams.  USM Athletic Media Relations maintains the University of Southern Maine Athletics website, produces game-day programs for home athletic events and writes game releases on each of the Huskies' athletic contest, which are distributed to state, regional and national media outlets.  The office also maintains, researches and supervises the collection of school records and manages each of the teams' statistical data in order to report to the Little East Conference, NCAA and any other league affiliation.

All interview requests for coaches, administrators or student-athletes should be made through USM Athletic Media Relations.  Every effort will be made to fulfill any request within a timely manner. Requests for the USM Athletic Logos, photographs and/or game-day credentials should also be made through USM Athletic Communications. All game day photography must request credentials at least 24 hours prior to the contest.
