GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies softball team and coaching staff will be hosting a pitching and hitting clinic on Saturday, February 26 from 9:30am until 2:00pm.
The clinic will be held in the Costello Sports Complex Field House on the Gorham Campus of the University of Southern Maine.
The clinic is open to girls ages 8-18 and is a great opportunity to work with the 2022 USM softball team coming off a record-setting 2021 season. Geared to help players of all ages and skill levels to prepare for their upcoming seasons, the Husky clinic will cover: infield and outfield, hitting, bunting, slap hitting, pitching, catching, and base-running. Following the aforementioned skill work, the clinic will conclude with age and skill appropriate scrimmages, providing participants with the chance to learn from live in-game situations.
The fee for the clinic is $50 with all proceeds going directly into the Softball Fundraising Account. Players should wear appropriate athletic attire and bring a snack and water as lunch will not be provided. Additionally,
indoor masking and COVID-19 symptom check at the door is required.
