Herb Bryant (Portland, Maine) and junior
Adam Coley (Valencia, Cail./Cheshire) are serving as captains of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's lacrosse team for the 2026 season. Bryant also was a team captain last season.
Bryant, a veteran start on defense, has played in 44 career games with 41 starts. He has recorded 70 ground balls and 57 caused turnovers. He has ranked in the top three on the team in caused turnovers in each of the past three seasons.A three-time William B. Wise Scholar Athlete, Bryant is majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in coaching.
Coley, an attacker, has played in 32 career and started in 17. He ranked second on the team in goals last season with 14 and tied for second in points with 21. He has scored 27 goals and dished out 16 assists for 43 career points. Coley also has 36 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers in his career. A Mechanical Engineering major, Coley is a one-time William B. Wise Scholar Athlete.
