GORHAM, Maine-  Senior Jake Craig (Norridgewock, Maine/Skowhegan), junior Kyle Moore (Kennebunk, Maine/Division Avenue) and sophomore Shane Moore (Kennebunk, Maine/Division Avenue) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies wrestling team are each regionally ranked in the most recent New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Individual Rankings.
 
Competing at 149 lbs, Shane Moore is currently ranked seventh in region for the Huskies. With a 15-6 overall record this season, Moore is coming off of back-to-back wins in dual meets against opponents from Arcadia and Rhode Island College.  Moore has five wins by fall this season, and eight extra-point wins overall.
 
Wrestling at 141 lbs, Kyle Moore is ranked second in his division and has a record of 12-3 so far this season, and is coming off of a pair of wins in dual meet competition against Rhode Island College and VTSU-Castleton.  A 2024 NEWA All-Rookie team selection, Moore earned NCAA All-Region honors (4^th place) as a sophomore in 2025, and was named NEWA Honorable Mention.  He is currently 57-26 in his career.
 
A two-time NCAA Division III All-American (2023, 2025), Craig, who recently surpassed the 100-win mark in his career, is currently ranked second regionally at 133 lbs.  Ranked nationally 5/7 at the same division, Craig has had an outstanding senior campaign so far and is 21-2 this season. Earning victories in five consecutive bouts with just one medical forfeit loss, Craig has been dominant with six wins by fall, six wins by technical fall and three wins by major decision to his credit. 
 
 
The Huskies are back in action on Saturday, January 31 (10:00 am) at WPI for a tri-match with SUNY Brockport.  This weekend's NEWA Duals event hosted by Johnson & Wales University has been cancelled due to predicted weather conditions.
