GORHAM, Maine – For the third time this season, sophomore Alex Grant (St. Albans, Maine/Nokomis Regional) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's golf team has been named the Little East Conference Player of the Week. Grant was previously honored on September 9 and September 16.
 
Grant earned his third medalist honor of the season last Tuesday by placing first at the Mariners Invitational with a two-under par 68. He also tied for 74th at last weekend's Bowdoin Invitational with a 162 (+18) in the two-day event.
 
The Huskies are playing in the Southern Maine Community College Invitational today and will host the USM Husky Classic on Sunday at 11:30 am at Riverside Golf Course.
