HOOKSET, N.H. – The University of Southern Maine women's track & field team tied for fifth place at the Southern New Hampshire University Ed Daniels Invitational on Monday behind strong performances from seniors
Heaven Conley (Ogunquit, Maine/Wells),
Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy), junior
Alexis Karantza (Westbrook, Maine) and sophomore
Sam Fenley (Harlowton, Mont.). Coley and Karatnza led the Huskies on the track while Boudreau and Fenley shined in the field events.

Conley placed second in the 400 meters with a time of 59.83 seconds. She also placed sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.54 seconds. Karantza ran a time of 1:05.38 in the 400-meter hurdles to place third and move into 10th on the program's all-time leaderboard. She also placed ninth in the 100-meter dash at 13.12 seconds.

Fenley placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.47m. Her mark is a new outdoor personal best. Boudreau had a season-best throw of 39.67m to place second in the discus and also finished 11th in the hammer at 36.90m.

Track Event Highlights:
- Freshman Khalysa Hammith (Windham, Maine) placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 12.78 seconds. Hammith ran a time of 12.95 seconds to advance to the finals. Fellow freshman Mya Austin (Sumner, Maine/Buckfield) also made it to the finals and ran a time of 13.00 seconds to place seventh. Austin also placed ninth in the 200-meter dash at 26.78 seconds.
- Junior AnnMarie Limberger (Vassalboro, Maine/Waterville) and freshman Meghan Przybilla (St. Anthony, Minn./St. Anthony Village) both ran personal best times of 2:26.89 and 2:29.16 to place fifth and sixth in the 800 meters.
- Freshman Saya Breiting-Brown (Portland, Maine/Deering) ran a personal-best time of 15.97 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles to place ninth.

Field Event Highlights:
- Graduate student Olivia Jalbert (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.82m. She also was seventh in the javelin with a throw of 33.65m.
- Junior Izze Gray (Berwick, Maine/Noble) had a throw of 9.95m to place 12th in the shot put.
- Hammith placed 13th in the long jump at 4.31m.

The Huskies will compete at the Pine Tree State Classic hosted by Colby College. The first events of the two-day meet start on Friday at 3:00 pm.
