ATLANTA, Ga. – Senior
Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's track & field team placed third in the shot put with a throw of 12.50m on the final day of the Emory Thrills in the Hills Invitational. She also placed seventh in the discus with a mark of 38.12m.

Khalysa Hammith (Windham, Maine), senior
Janiah Young (Perkinsville, Vt./Windsor), senior
Alexis Karantza (Westbrook, Maine) and senior
Riley Reitchel (Palermo, Maine/Erskine Academy) had a strong performance with a time of 49.46 seconds to place fifth.

Hammith also had strong individual performances in the long jump and the 100-meter dash. She placed fifth in the 100-meter dash prelims with a personal-best time of 12.71 seconds. Hammith also placed eighth in the long jump at 5.32m.

Young and Karantza also competed in individual track events. Young placed 12th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.40 seconds, while Karantza finished 21st in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.01.

The next meet for the Huskies will be the Jim Boulanger Invitational hosted by the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, April 4. The first events start at 11:00 am.
