GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies' 4x400 team of freshman
Camden Brown (Veazie, Maine/Orono), senior
Jon Dalessandro (Westbrook, Maine), freshman
Harry Dunne (Hollis Center, Maine/Bonny Eagle) and senior
Pashalis Pashalidis (Palo Alto, Cali.) have been named the Little East Conference Relay Team of the Week. The group placed first at Saturday's USM Alumni Open with a time of 3:32.08.
The group's converted time ranks second in the NCAA Division III East region and 47th nationally so far this season. The squad beat the second-place team from Saint Joseph's College of Maine by nearly 10 seconds.
Outside of the relay event, Pashalidis, Dunne and Brown placed second through fourth in the 500 meters with times of 1:08.69, 1:09.13 and 1:10.72. Dalessandro and Brown each competed in the pole vault as well with Dalessandro tying for third and Brown finishing fifth.
The Huskies return to action in 2026. The Huskies will send some athletes to the Bryant Indoor Throws Competition on January 7 before the bulk of the team opens 2026 at the USM Open II on January 10.
