STANDISH, Maine – Senior
AnnMarie Limberger (Vassalboro, Maine/Waterville) placed second in the 6k at the Coach Dann Runnin' Monks Classic on Saturday afternoon with a time of 25:37.6. Limberger was one of four members of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's cross country team to compete at the event hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine. Freshman
Aeryn Babson (Standish, Maine/Bonny Eagle) also had a top 10 finishes by placing eight with a personal-best time of 26:45.3.

Addie Beale (South Berwick, Maine/Marshwood) and
Tanuja Khedkar (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) also competed for the Huskies. Beale finished 11th with a time of 27:59.9 and Khedkar clocked in at 28:20.5 to place 14th.

The Huskies did not record a team score at the event. Saint Joseph's placed first with Emerson College coming in second and Regis College placing third.

The Huskies will return to action at the Little East Conference Championships on November 1 at Keene State College.
