HOPKINTON, N.H. – Junior captain
Gwen Catalano (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle) ran a personal-best time of 22:56.0 to place 42nd in the 6k on Saturday at the NCAA Division III East Regional Championships. Her time ranked third among runners from Little East Conference schools. Seniors
Lucy Depolito (North Andover, Mass.) and
AnnMarie Limberger (Vassalboro, Maine/Waterville) also finished in the top 100 at the event.

The Huskies placed 16th in the team standings and ranked fourth among LEC teams. Tufts University won the team title and the individual title was won by Kate Sanderson from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a time of 21:20.1.

On the Course:
- Depolito placed 86th with a time of 24:20.3
- Limberger ran the course in 24:31.5 to place 92nd.
- Junior Julia Szewc (Hermon, Maine) placed 119th with a time of 25:15.6.
- Freshman Aeryn Babson (Standish, Maine/Bonny Eagle) finished 125th with a time of 25:20.1.
- Senior Anabel Melanson (West Warren, Mass./Quaboag) had a time of 25:36.1 to place 131st.
- Senior Whitney Davenport (Westbrook, Maine) placed 161st with a time of 26:31.5.
