GORHAM, Maine – Freshman Harry Dunne (Hollis Center, Maine/Bonny Eagle) of University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's cross country team picked up a pair of Little East Conference weekly awards on Tuesday as he was named the conference's Runner of the Week and Rookie of the Week. This is the first Runner of the Week award for Dunne and his fourth Rookie of the Week honor.
 
Dunne was the top finisher for the Huskies on Friday at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. with a time of 26:24.7 in the 8k, a personal-best. He placed 118th overall at the event.
 
The next meet for the Huskies will be the Coach Dann Runnin' Monks Classic hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday, October 18.
