ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Junior
Zoe Barnes (New Gloucester, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's track & field team broke her own program record in the discus with a throw of 45.46m at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier. She placed second in the open section of the event. Senior
Olivia Jalbert (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) also made the trip to the last chance meet hosted by Augustana College.

Barnes' distance came on her third throw of the day and earned her three more throws in the finals of the event. Her mark currently ranks 21st in NCAA Division III.

Jalbert competed in both the high jump and the long jump. She placed 15th in the high jump at 1.53m and 26th in the long jump with a mark of 5.07m.

Junior
Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy) competed at the MIT Final Qualifier and placed sixth in the discus with a toss of 38.25m.

The NCAA will announce the participant list for the 2024 DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championship on Friday evening via a press release on NCAA.com.
