GORHAM, Maine – Junior Maggie Jones (St. John's, Newfoundland/Mount Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's lacrosse team has been named the Little East Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the first time this season. Jones went 2-0 in goal for the Huskies with seven total saves.
 
The first game of the week saw the Huskies defeat the Framingham State University Rams 12-9. Jones made four saves and recorded two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the win. She then made another three saves in Saturday's 12-8 win over Keene State College. Jones is now 3-0 on the season with a .439 save percentage.
 
The next game for the Huskies will be on Wednesday, April 8 when they take on Plymouth State University at 4:00 pm at Hannaford Field.
