LEWISTON, Maine – Senior
Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy) was named the Most Valuable Field Performer on Saturday at Pine Tree State Classic after winning event titles in the shot put (12.79m) and discus (39.80m) with season-best marks in each event. A member of the University of Southern Maine team has now won the award three years in a row as Boudreau joins 2024 and 2025 winner
Zoe Barnes. Boudreau also placed seventh in the hammer with a throw of 39.12m.

The Huskies placed third overall in the team standings with 100 points behind Bates College (214.5 points) and Colby College (123 points).

Alexis Karantza (Westbrook, Maine), freshman
Florence Guimont (Boisbriand, Quebec/Laval Senior),
Emma O'Brien (Aurora, Colo./Eaglecrest) and
Riley Reitchel (Palermo, Maine/Erskine Academy). Karantza won the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 1:05.06. Guimont placed first in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 12:10.77 to move into fifth on the program leaderboard. O'Brien set a personal-best in the pole vault at 3.36m to win the event. Reitchel placed first in the javelin with a throw of 38.30m and placed third in the pole vault with a mark of 3.30m.

Track Event Highlights: Â
- Freshman Madi Sainis (Pierrefords, Quebec) placed third in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:57.24.
- Junior Gwen Catalano (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle) ran a personal-best time of 4:59.66 to place fourth in the 1500 meters.
- Sophomore Saya Breiting-Brown (Portland, Maine/Deering) placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 15.44 seconds and now ranks 10th in program history. She also ran a personal-best time of 13.02 seconds to place 14th in the 100-meter dash and won her heat.
- Junior Kiana Goldberg (Sabattus, Maine/Lisbon) placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.76 seconds. She won her heat.
- Freshman Tanuja Khedkar (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) placed fifth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 15:42.25.
- Junior Julia Szewc (Hermon, Maine) placed fifth in the 5000 meters with a personal-best time of 20:33.88.
- Senior Janiah Young (Perkinsville, Vt./Windsor) placed sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.55 seconds.
- Senior Anabel Melanson (West Warren, Mass./Quaboag) placed 10th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:30.62.
- Sophomore Meghan Przybilla (St. Anthony, Minn./St. Anthony Village) placed 11th in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 2:31.30.
- Freshman Addy Burkhardt (Lisbon Falls, Maine/Lisbon) finished 11th in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 27.43 seconds. She also placed 18th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.29 seconds.
- Karantza placed 11th in the 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 12.92 seconds.
- Seniors AnnMarie Limberger (Vassalboro, Maine/Waterville) and Whitney Davenport (Westbrook, Maine) placed 13th and 14th in the 800 meters with times of 2:34.15 and 2:34.16.
- Senior Lucy Depolito (North Andover, Mass.) placed 13th in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:27.99.
- Freshman Ashley Arsenault (Winthrop, Maine) ran a personal-best time of 28.16 seconds to place 21st in the 200 meters and was the top runner in her heat.

- Freshman Sienna Geretz (Cushing, Maine/Oceanside) placed eighth in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 32.70m. She also set a personal-best in the pole vault at 2.40m to place 10th.
- Arsenault placed 11th in the high jump with a mark of 1.43m.
- Freshman Nadia Sylla (Burlington, Vt.) placed 11th in the shot put with a season-best mark of 10.29m and 17th in the hammer with a throw of 30.90m.
- Sophomore Kate LeBlanc (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) placed 12th in the javelin with a mark of 27.33m and 21st in the shot put with a mark of 8.95m.
- Senior Lizzie Asman (Marlborough, Mass./Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter) placed 12th in the hammer with a season-best mark of 34.25m and 13th in the discus with a mark of 28.62m.
- Junior Wynter Simack (South Royalton, Vt./White River Valley) placed 13th in the javelin with a throw of 26.21m.
- Freshman Elara Kluck (Raymond, Maine/ Gray-New Gloucester) placed 18th in the hammer with a mark of 30.00m.
