GORHAM, Maine – Freshman Mariam DeLisle (Whitefield, Maine/Lincoln Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's lacrosse team has been named the earned Little East Conference Rookie of the Week. DeLisle is the second Husky to earn the Rookie of the Week award this season joining Emma Morrison (Rockland, Maine/Kents Hill).
 
DeLisle scored four goals in a 1-1 week for the Huskies. Three of those goals came in Saturday's 15-6 win over Vermont State University Castleton in the team's LEC opener. DeLisle also recorded four caused turnovers on the week. She has recorded multiple points in five of seven games this season and ranks third on the team in goals with 12.

The Huskies will host Bowdoin College on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Hannaford Field.
