GORHAM, Maine – Senior Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) has been named the captain of the University of Southern Maine women's golf team for the 2025-26 season.
 
Kingsbury played 10 rounds of the Huskies last season and has played in both events so far this year. She was the team's top performer at last fall's New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship with two-day total of 201 (+57) to tie for 32nd. An Elementary Education major, Kingsbury also plays for the Huskies' softball team in the spring. She is a two-time William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete.
 
The next event for the Huskies will be the USM Cup on Saturday.
