PORTLAND, Maine – The senior pair of
Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) and
Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) placed first in the USM Cup on Saturday afternoon at Riverside Golf Course. Due to weather, the event was forced to end early with each pair's score being reverted to the ninth hole, the last one completed by all groups. Levin and Kingsbury shot one-under par 35 on the front nine to win the title. The modified format event featured three holes of best ball, three of alternate shot and three of scramble.

Third place went to the USM pair of junior
Emma Skolfield (Lisbon, Maine) and
Ryley Meyer (North Sioux City, S.D./Dakota Valley) with a score of 42 (+6).

On the Course:
- Juniors Mary Kate Heffernan (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) and Belle Steeves (South Paris, Maine/Oxford Hills) shot a 47 (+9) to place fifth.
- Juniors Meaghan May (Framingham, Mass.) and Abby Kemp (Sangerville, Maine/Foxcroft Academy) placed seventh with a 54 (+18).
