BANGOR, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team placed fourth on Saturday afternoon at the Husson Invitational at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. Senior
Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) was the top finisher for the Huskies after tying for 11th with an 86 (+15).
Bates College placed first with a team score of 308 (+24) led by medalist Sarah Wicks' 72 (+1). The University of New England (355, +71) placed second with Husson University (357, +73) placing third.
On the Course:
- Senior captain Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) shot a 99 (+21) to place 21st.
- Junior Emma Skolfield (Lisbon, Maine) placed 24th with a 104 (+34) while sophomore Ryley Meyer (North Sioux City, S.D./Dakota Valley) finished 25th with a 106 (+36).
- Junior Abby Kemp (Sangerville, Maine/Foxcroft Academy) carded a 118 (+47) to tie for 27th.
