GORHAM, Maine – Senior Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) and junior Emma Skolfield (Lisbon, Maine) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team have earned weekly honors from Little East Conference. Levin was chosen as the LEC Player of the Week and Skolfield earned the Rookie of the Week award.
 
Levin placed first at Friday's competition against Saint Joseph's College of Maine with an 80 (+8). She shot par on nine holes and had a birdie. Skolfield placed third in the field of 11 golfers with a 99 (+27). She shot par on five holes.
 
The Huskies return to action tomorrow at the John Queenan Memorial Invitational at Point Sebago Golf Course.
