GORHAM, Maine – The inaugural Little East Conference Women's Golf Championship will be hosted by Rhode Island College at Valley Country Club in Warwick, R.I. on October 23-24, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. both days. The University of Southern Maine will be one of seven teams competing to become the first LEC women's golf champions. Valley Country Club is a par-72, 5636-yard course.
Leading the way for the Huskies is senior
Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle). Levin is a four-time three LEC Player of the Week and will be looking to earn all-conference honors by placing in the top 10 at the event. She recently earned New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) All-New England honors by placing sixth at the NEIGA Championship. Levin has placed in the top five in three events and has six top 10 finishes on the season.
The Huskies' championship lineup also features sophomore
Ryley Meyer (North Sioux City, S.D./Dakota Valley), junior
Belle Steeves (South Paris, Maine/Oxford Hills) and senior captain
Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.).
Meyer was one of the team's top performers last year as a freshman and has two top 10 finishes this season. Steeves has been the second-highest finisher for the Huskies at five events this season. She has broken 100 three times this season by shooting 94 three separate times. Steeves also has three top 10 finishes this season. Kingsbury has broken 100 twice this season with a season-low round of 97. She has one top five finish this season which came at the season-opener against Saint Joseph's.
The Huskies will be grouped with Western Connecticut State in the first round and the first tee time of the group will be 9:40 am.
