PORTLAND, Maine – Senior
Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) placed first in a field of 11 competitors on Friday afternoon at Riverside Golf Course as the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team competed against the Saint Joseph's College team. Levin shot an 80 (+8) to beat her closet competitor by 13 strokes. Averi Beaudoin from Saint Joseph's placed second with a 93 (+21). Levin shot par on nine holes and had a birdie.
On the Course:
- Junior Emma Skolfield (Lisbon, Maine) shot a 99 (+27) to place third. She had five pars.
- Senior Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) finished fourth with a score of 100 (+28).
- Junior Belle Steeves (South Paris, Maine/Oxford Hills) placed sixth with a 104 (+32).
- Sophomore Ryley Meyer (North Sioux City, S.D./Dakota Valley) had a score of 112 (+40) and placed seventh.
- Junior Abby Kemp (Sangerville, Maine/Foxcroft Academy) placed eighth with a score of 116 (+44).
- Juniors Mary Kate Heffernan (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) and Meaghan May (Framingham, Mass.) rounded out the top 10 with scores of 120 (+48) and 133 (+61).
