FARMINGDALE, N.Y. –The University of Southern Maine men's golf team placed 15th at Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y. with a two-round score of 624 (+64) The Huskies carded 316 (+36) as a team to add to their score of 308 (+28) from yesterday's opening round. Freshman
Owen Moore (Pittsfield, Maine/Maine Central Institute) shot four-over-par 74 for the best round of the day for the Huskies. He finished 45th with a two-round score of 150 (+10). Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute won the team title with a two-day score of 568 (+8)

Jaden Poirier (White River Junction, Vt./Hartford) tied for 72nd with a score of 155 (+15) after shooting an 80 (+10) on Sunday. Freshman
Taylor Farr (Gorham, Maine) placed 79th with a 157 (+17) followed by classmate
Alex Grant (St. Albans, Maine/Nokomis Regional) in 82nd at 162 (+22). Freshman
Alex Fournier (Augusta, Maine/Cony) fired a 167 (+27) to tie for 84th.
