Campbell Doughty (Ashland, Va.) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's basketball team have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
All four student-athletes are receiving Academic All-District recognition after distinguishing themselves athletically and academically as student-athletes at the University of Southern Maine. To be eligible for the accolade, student-athletes must be a starter or an important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), must have participated in at least 90 percent of the team's games, and must be at least a sophomore academically. Graduate students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher as both an undergrad and graduate student-athlete.
A sophomore guard for the Huskies, Doughty played in all 28 games this season averaging just 10 minutes per game as a reserve. Establishing career-highs in points and rebounds during the 2024-2025 season, Doughty had six rebounds in 12 minutes of playing time in a 67-57 Little East Conference win over VTSU-Castleton. Doughty had five points in Southern Maine's 69-49 victory over Eastern Connecticut, shooting 2-for-2 from the field. Doughty is a Sport Management major, and a William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete.
A two-sport student-athlete as a member of the Huskies' Little East Conference Champion women's soccer team, Kratzer played in 27 games in 2024-25 basketball season, averaging just under 14 minutes per game. Scoring a season-high eight points in a 78-58 road win at VTSU-Castleton, Krazter had eight games with at least two assists, including a career-best four in a 64-51 win at WestConn in Little East action. A Cybersecurity major, Kratzer is a William B. Wise Scholar Athlete.
A four-time William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete, Ramdsell played in 25 games in 2024-25, starting 22. Averaging 5.7 points, 2.3 rebounds per game, Ramsdell had a season-high 12 points at Rhode Island College, and set a career-high with four assists in an 84-42 win over UMaine Presque Isle. Finishing her Husky career with 97 games played, Ramsdell averaged 6.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists per game while shooting 30.6 percent from the field. Completing her undergraduate degree in Business Management and Psychology, Ramsdell is earning her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Averaging 10.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game, while connecting on a Little East Conference-leading 73 three-points and shooting 40.3 percent from beyond the arc, Cote earned second team All-LEC recognition after the 2024-2025 season. Matching her career-high with 22 points in a 69-43 win at UMass Boston, shooting 6-for-8 from three-point range, Cote set career-highs in rebounds with eight in a 58-47 win at Keene State, and steals with five in a 74-44 win at UMaine Farmington. Through 50 career games, Cote has 542 points, 176 rebounds, 63 assists, 50 steals, and 17 blocked shots to average 10.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Shooting 39.0 percent from three in her career, Cote has 137 three-pointers to her credit. Her 73 threes in 2024-2025 are fourth in single-season history. Cote is pursuing her Master's degree in Leadership Studies, and is a William B. Wise Scholar Athlete.
Designated Academic All-District student-athletes are eligible for selection to the Academic All-America program. College Sports Communicators began the distinguished Academic All-America® program in 1952, and since then, has honored more than 38,000 deserving student-athletes from numerous sports across all divisions with these elite Academic All-America® scholar-athlete honors. Currently, CSC sponsors Academic All-America® programs for men's soccer, women's soccer, football, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, men's tennis, women's tennis, baseball, softball and men's and women's track and field/cross country. Many other sports are eligible through the At-Large program, including USM sponsored sports field hockey, golf, ice hockey, and wrestling.
