GORHAM, Maine – Seven members of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's track & field team have earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Senior

Michael D'Amico (Belgrade Lakes, Maine/Messalonskee), fifth-year senior
Ben Drummey (Biddeford, Maine), freshman
Joey Richards (Winslow, Maine) and graduate student
Ethan Shain (Sanford, Maine) have each earned All-Region honors. All-Region honors are awarded to the top five performers in each men's and women's track and field event and the members of the top three relay teams in each NCAA Division III region from the season-ending descending order list of performances.

Brown had the fifth-best mark in the region in the long jump at 6.76m that came at the 2025 Little East Conference Championships and earned him fourth place. He ranks sixth in program history in the event. This is his first time that he has earned All-Region honors.

Burke earned the honor for the heptathlon thanks to a personal-best performance at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships to end the season. He compiled 4337 points to place third at the event and move into All-Region status as fifth on the East region leaderboard. A 2023 All-Region pole vaulter, this is his first time earning the honor for the heptathlon.

Carrolton rewrote the program record book in the shot put this season with nine of the top 10 marks in team history. He broke the program record multiple times with his season-best mark of 15.67m coming at the NCAA Division III New England Championships to earn him third place. Carrolton was the conference champion in the event with a toss of 15.42m. His mark ranked second in the region.

D'Amico was named All-Region in the heptathlon with the third best score in the region. He scored 4495 points at the DIII New England Championships to place fifth. His score is a personal best and the eight-best in program history. D'Amico also earned All-Region honors for the 2022-23 indoor season.

Drummey has now earned All-Region honors for the indoor pole vault four times and is a two-time East Region Field Athlete of the Year. He set a season-best height of 4.98m at the NEICAAA Championships to set the top mark in the region. Drummey is set to compete in the event at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday where he will be looking to earn All-America honors for the fourth consecutive indoor season. His mark ranked 12th in the country.

Richards will also be competing at the National Championships in the 400 meters. He set a program record in the event at the John Thomas Terrier Classic with a time of 48.07 seconds and has posted three of the top seven times in program history. His converted time of 48.84 seconds ranked third in the region and 29th nationally.

Shain is the third member of the team that will travel to Rochester, N.Y. for the National Championships where he will compete in the 60-meter dash. Shain tied for 17th best time in the nation at 6.81 seconds. His time, a program record, came at the DIII New England Championships. He broke the record in the prelims and then matched the time the next day in the finals to win the New England title. The time ranked second in the region. Shain was also an All-Region performer last indoor season and earned Second Team All-America honors at the National Championships.
