CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine – Senior
Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team tied for third in a field of 17 competitors on Wednesday at the University of New England at Cape Arundel Golf Club. Remy shot an 84 (+14) to tie with two other competitors for third place. The Huskies placed third in the team standings. The three lowest scores for each team were used to determine the standings.
Junior
Belle Steeves (South Paris, Maine/Oxford Hills) tied for seventh with a 94 (+24) while junior
Emma Skolfield (Lisbon, Maine) rounded out the team's scoring with a 106 (+36) to tie for 11th. Senior
Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) and junior
Abby Kemp (Sangerville, Maine/Foxcroft Academy) also competed for the Huskies with Kingsbury placing 13th with a 111 (+41) and Kemp finishing 15th with a 117 (+47).
The University of New England tied for first with Southern Maine Community College and the hosts won the team title on a tiebreaker.
