KEENE, N.H. – Junior captain
Gwen Catalano (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle) placed 80th in the 6k and was the top finisher for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's cross country team on Saturday at the Keene State Invitational with a time of 24:13.6. The Huskies placed 16th out of 26 teams in the team standings.
Senior
AnnMarie Limberger (Vassalboro, Maine/Waterville) also finished in the top 100 runners by completing the course in 24:29.3 to place 90th.
On the Course:
- Senior Lucy Depolito (North Andover, Mass.) finished 129th with a time of 25:25.1.
- Junior Julia Szewc (Hermon, Maine) clocked in at 25:55.4 to place 159th.
- Freshman Addie Beale (South Berwick, Maine/Marshwood) ran the course in 26:31.6 to place 174th.
- Senior Anabel Melanson (West Warren, Mass./Quaboag) placed 181st with a time of 26:41.9.
- Freshman Rohen Brown (Auburn, Maine/Saint Dominic Academy) ran the course in 26:47.5 to finish 187th.
- Junior Elise Schultz (Windham, Maine) finished with a time of 27:00.0 to place 195th.
- Freshman Tanuja Khedkar (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) placed 214th with a time of 27:33.2.
- Senior Whitney Davenport (Westbrook, Maine) placed 218th with a time of 27:40.3.
- Freshman Aeryn Babson (Standish, Maine/Bonny Eagle) placed 226th with a time of 28:00.01.
