BREWSTER, Mass. – Senior
Remy Levin (Steep Falls, Maine/Bonny Eagle) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team fired an 82 (+10) in the first round of the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Women's Golf Championship at The Captains Club in Brewster, Mass. to tie for seventh on the leaderboard. The Huskies are in sixth place in the team standings after carding a 400 (+112) on the tied for sixth place after shooting a 74 (+2) on the par-72 5,616-yard Starboard course.

Junior
Emma Skolfield (Lisbon, Maine) is tied for 31st after shooting a 105 (+33). Sophomore
Ryley Meyer (North Sioux City, S.D./Dakota Valley) ended the round tied for 34th with a 106 (+34). The final scoring player of the Huskies was junior
Belle Steeves (South Paris, Maine/Oxford Hills) who shot a 107 (+35) in the round and is tied for 36th.

Senior
Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) was the fifth competitor for the Huskies and shot a 110 (+38). She sits in 41st place.

Bates College will enter tomorrow's round at the top of the leaderboard with a 319 (+31) led by a 75 (+3) from Victoria Adams, the current front-runner for the medalist honor.

The second round of the tournament continues tomorrow. Skolfield will be the first Husky to hit the link with a 9:00 am tee time.
