GORHAM, Maine  --  The University of Southern Maine and Plymouth State University played to a scoreless overtime draw Saturday in a Little East Conference women's soccer match at the USM Soccer Field.

            The draw left Southern Maine, winless in its last five matches, at 3-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the conference.  Plymouth State is level overall at 3-3-3, and also 0-2-1 in the conference.

            Plymouth State piled up a 16-4 advantage in shots and a 6-1 margin in corner kicks, but was unable to put the ball past USM junior goalkeeper Alison Bradley (Auckland, New Zealand).  Bradley finished the match making 10 saves, including one on junior midfielder Lauren Lavery (Nashua, N.H.) in the final seconds of the match.

            PSU rookie goalkeeper Angelina LaBroad (Hampton, N.H.) was credited with one save which came late in the second overtime period against USM senior forward Caitlin Brown (Camden, Maine).

            Southern Maine will play its fourth match in eight days on Tuesday (4:00 p.m.) when it hosts Bates College.  Plymouth State will journey to Salem State College on Tuesday (6:00 p.m.) for a match under the lights.
