GORHAM, Maine – Juniors Kadin Davoren (Yarmouth, Maine), Natalie Flageolle (Broomfield, Colo./Legacy), and Ani Roberts (Bangor, Maine), and senior and Elizabeth Talbot (Windham, Maine) have been named co-captains of the 2026 University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's soccer team. 
 
Picked to finish second in the 2026 Little East Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, the four-time defending conference champions (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) open their season on Friday at UMaine Farmington (4:00 pm). 
 
Entering her third season as a Husky, Talbot is part of Southern Maine's midfield corp.  Playing in 15 games in 2025 with a pair of starts, Talbot registered two shots.  An Exercise Science major, Talbot was one of 54 student-athletes and one of 16 members of the women's soccer team to earn Little East All-Academic Team honors.
 
Playing in 20 games and starting three in 2025, Roberts tallied a goal and an assist as a sophomore, Roberts scored her first career goal in a 3-0 win over UMass Dartmouth in LEC action, and had her first career assist in a 5-0 win over UMaine Fort Kent.  Roberts is a Business major.  
 
A forward for the Huskies, Flageolle bounced back from injury to make consistent appearances for the Huskies playing in 21 games with three starts.  Flageolle score the first goal of her career in a 5-0 win over UMaine Fort Kent, and tallied her second against nationally-ranked Williams College, and finished the season with a 85.7 shots on goal percentage.  A Business Management major, Flageolle is part of USM's Women in Business club and earned Little East Conference All-Academic Team honors in 2025.
 
A member of the Huskies' midfield and defense, Davoren made an impact in her first season in Gorham after transferring from Saint Anselm College. Playing in 22 games and earning seven starts, Davoren had a pair of assists in 2025.  Davoren is a Nursing major.
