GORHAM, Maine – Freshmen
Bowdoin Allen (Mount Desert, Maine/Mount Desert Island) and
Aiden Urbahn (Freeport, Maine/International School of Sosua) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's tennis team have been named Intercollegiate Tennis Association ("ITA") Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 season.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year. In 2026, 1,151 Division III Men's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 147 Men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.

Allen played in the No. 1 singles slot all season for the Huskies and earned the first two wins of his career in the Huskies' win against VTSU Castleton with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles and a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles April 20.

Urbahn, an Economics major, played in 10 of 11 matches and earned his first career win with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles against Salem State April 21.

The Huskies made the Little East Conference Tournament last year for the second year in a row before falling to UMass Boston.
