Audrey Donahue Named CSC Academic All-District

GORHAM, Maine – Senior Audrey Donahue (Timberlea, Nova Scotia/Kimball Union Academy) of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's ice hockey team has earned 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honor. She is receiving the honor as part of the At-Large program which covers USM-sponsored sports of field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, golf, and wrestling.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. For ice hockey, the student-athlete also must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For goalies, a student-athlete must have started at least 50 percent of an institution's games.
 
Donahue, Second Team All-Little East Conference defenseman and team captain, blocked a team-leading 66 shots while playing in 26 of 27 games. She also ranked fourth on the team in points with 14 on five goals and nine assists. Donahue finished her Southern Maine career with seven goals and 12 assists in 52 games. This is the first Academic All-District honor of her career. She graduated in May with a degree in Health Sciences and a 4.00 GPA.
