NORTH SUTTON, N.H. – Senior captain
Sam Farr (Gorham, Maine) tied for third with a 76 (+4) as the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's golf team placed second out of five teams on Sunday afternoon at the New England College Invitational at the Country Club of New Hampshire. The Huskies carded 314 (+26) to finish three strokes behind Salem State University on the 6,714-yard course.

Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) tied for fifth with a 77 (+5) while freshman
Keenan Buteau (Scarborough, Maine) also had a top 10 finish with a 78 (+6) to tie for eighth.

Ben Aucoin (Moncton, New Brunswick) and senior
Curan Bassingthwaite (Gorham, Maine) tied for 18th after each player shot an 83 (+11).

Dillon led the team with three birdies while Buteau, Farr and Bassingthwaite each had two.

The Huskies will then play in the two-day Warrior Invitational hosted by Eastern Connecticut State University on Monday and Tuesday. The first tee times for Monday's round at 12:30 pm at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Baltic, Conn.
