GORHAM, Maine – Senior Sam Farr (Gorham, Maine) has been named the captain of the University of Southern Maine men's golf team for the 2025-26 season.
 
Farr is in his fourth season with the team. He has played in over 20 events in his career and was in the team's lineup for 2022 and 2023 Little East Conference Championship events. He placed 21st in 2022 as a freshman with a 173 (+29) and finished 16th in 2023 with a 161 (+21). Farr also played in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship event in 2023 and tied for 85th. A two-time LEC All-Academic Team member and two-time William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete, Farr is majoring in Marketing.
 
The next event for the Huskies will be the USM Cup on Saturday followed by the New England College Invitational on Sunday.
