MANCHESTER, Maine – Sophomore Alex Grant (St. Albans, Maine/Nokomis Regional) shot a two-under par 68 to earn his third medalist honor of the season on Tuesday at the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners Invitational at Augusta Country Club. Sophomore Alex Fournier (Augusta, Maine/Cony) shot par to place second overall as the Huskies carded a 286 (+6) to take their sixth team title of the season.
 
Grant was three-under 32 through the first nine holes and had four birdies on the day. Fournier also had a great front nine with a pair of birdies and was two-under 33.
 
On the Course:

• Junior Finn Sharpe (Durham, Maine/Freeport) tied for fifth with a 72 (+2) after ending his round with birdies on the final two holes.
• Sophomore Carter O'Connell (Monmouth, Maine/Monmouth Academy) shot a 76 (+6) to place 12th.
• Freshman Keenan Buteau (Scarborough, Maine) tied for 13th with 77 (+7).
