OAKLAND, Maine – Sophomore
Jaden Poirier (White River Junction, Vt./Hartford) and the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's golf team each tied for first place on Sunday at the UMaine Farmington Invitational at Waterville Country Club. Poirier shot a 72 (+2) to tie with Husson University's Jace Cook. The Huskies also tied with Husson for the top spot on the team leaderboard as each team shot a 306 (+26).

On the Course:
- Poirier had two birdies to lead the Huskies.
- Sophomore Alex Grant (St. Albans, Maine/Nokomis Regional) tied for third with a 75 (+5).
- Sophomore Alex Fournier (Augusta, Maine/Cony) tied for 11th with a 79 (+9).
- Junior Finn Sharpe (Durham, Maine/Freeport) and freshman Keenan Buteau (Scarborough, Maine) tied for 15th. Each player shot an 80 (+10).
