OAKLAND, Maine – Sophomore
Carter O'Connell (Monmouth, Maine/Monmouth Academy) had the best round for the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's golf team on Saturday at the Colby Invitational with a 75 (+5) to tie for second with Husson's Bradley Chrisholm. O'Connell had a hole-in-one on the 13th hole. The Huskies finished third out of eight teams with a 320 (+40) at the event held at Waterville Country Club.
On the Course:
- Sophomore Owen Moore (Pittsfield, Maine/Maine Central Institute) shot an 81 (+11) to tie for ninth.
- Senior captain Sam Farr (Gorham, Maine) and senior Curan Bassingthwaite (Gorham, Maine) each shot an 82 (+12) to tie for 14th.
- Junior Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) shot an 84 (+14) to tie for 18th.
