Marcus Tillery (Windham, Maine), junior
Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H.), junior
DeAnthony Evans (Westbrook, Maine) and graduate student
Ethan Shain (Sanford, Maine) set a new program record on Saturday at the NCAA Division III New England Championships with a time of 41.60 seconds. The team beat the record of 41.64 seconds set earlier this season by the team of Tillery, Cahill, Shain and freshman
Logan Berube (Turner, Maine/Leavitt Area).

Shain also won a New England title in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.64 seconds. His time is tied for the ninth fastest in program history. He is the first Husky to win a New England title in the 100 meters and the first Husky to capture a New England title in a track event since Jeremy Collins won the 400-meter hurdles in 2016. Junior
Christian Burke (York, Maine) won an event title as well by placing first in the decathlon with a personal best score of 6,074 points. He joins James Spaulding (2009) as the only Huskies to win a DIII New England title in the decathlon.

The Huskies matched their highest placement at the event in program history by finishing in fourth place in the team standings with 60 points. This is the team's highest finish at the outdoor New England championships since they placed fifth in 2017, and their 60 points are the team's most in the history of the event.

Burke entered the day in first place and was the top performer in the pole vault with a mark of 4.40m. He also placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles at 16.22 seconds. Junior
Michael D'Amico (Belgrade Lakes, Maine/Messalonskee) also set a personal best in the decathlon with 5,847 points to place second behind Burke. D'Amico's best event on the second day of the competition was the pole vault, where he placed second at 4.30m. D'Amico made a big leap in the standings on day two by placing in the top five in four of the five events. Burke now ranks second in the East region in the decathlon and 34th nationally. D'Amico moved into fourth in the region in the event.

Graduate student
William Carrolton (Bath, Maine/Morse) recorded a pair of top three finishes. Carrolton matched his program record in the discus at 50.93m to place third. He also placed second in the shot put with a throw of 15.37m, the fourth best throw in program history. He now is ranked 14th nationally in the discus.

Cahill ran a personal best time of 54.12 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles to place third. His time ranks 39th in NCAA Division III this season and is fifth in the East region.Â

Cyrus Evans (Farmington, Maine/Mt. Blue) ran the third fastest time in program history at 7:59.20 to place ninth. The group is the third team in program history to break the eight-minute mark in the event and the first since 2018. The 4x400 relay team of Tillery, senior

Cyrus Evans continued the trend of season bests with a time of 3:26.00 to place 11th.

Senior
Jacob Jackson (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) competed in two events for the Huskies. Jackson tied for 12th in the high jump at 1.85m and placed 22nd in the triple jump at 13.13m.

Qualified athletes for the Huskies will be competing next weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships at UMass Amherst.
