ATLANTA, Ga. – Freshman
Ryker Paradis (Lewiston, Maine) set a new program record in the shot put with a throw of 16.75m to place second at the Emory Thrills in the Hills Invitational in his first outdoor meet as a member of University of Southern Maine men's track & field team. Paradis also placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 44.33m and now ranks third in program history in the event.

Kody McCranie (Bow, N.H.),
Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H.) and sophomore
Logan Berube (Turner, Maine/Leavitt Area) placed seventh in their event with a time of 42.19 seconds.

Tillery, McCranie and Berube each competed in the 100-meter dash as well. Tillery placed 21st with a time of 11.09 seconds. Berube and McCranie competed in a separate section of the event with Berube placing 14th with a personal-best time of 11.09 seconds. McCranie finished 41st with a time of 11.58 seconds.

The next meet for the Huskies will be the Jim Boulanger Invitational hosted by the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, April 4. The first events start at 11:00 am.
