ATLANTA, Ga. – Sophomore
Logan Berube (Turner, Maine/Leavitt Area) set a new personal-best in the javelin with a throw of 49.98m to place third on the second day of the Emory Thrills in the Hills Invitational. He now ranks fourth on the program's all-time leaderboard. Berube was one of four members of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's track & field team to record top five performances at the meet.

Michael D'Amico (Belgrade Lakes, Maine/Messalonskee) placed third in the decathlon with a score of 5,782 points. D'Amico had a strong second day with a third-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 4.15, a fourth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles at 16.01 seconds and a fifth-place performance in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:04.62.
Christian Burke (York, Maine) placed fifth in the event with 5,617 points. His top event on day two was the pole vault where he placed second with a mark of 4.45m.

Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H.) finished fourth in the 400-meters with a time of 54.08 seconds

Michael Cyr (Caribou, Maine) and freshman
Kody McCranie (Bow, N.H.) also competed for the Huskies. Cyr placed 17th in the 5000 meters with a personal-best time of 15:44.52. McCranie ran a time of 22.70 seconds in the 200 meters to place 37th.
