DURHAM, N.H. – Three Huskies and one relay team won events for the University of Southern Maine men's track & field team on Saturday at the University of New Hampshire Jim Boulanger Invitational. Freshman
Marcus Tillery (Windham, Maine) won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.34 seconds. Junior
Christian Burke (York, Maine) placed first in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 16.85 seconds. Junior
Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H.) won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.86 seconds. The Huskies' B 4x400 relay team of Tillery, sophomore

Cyrus Evans (Farmington, Maine/Mt. Blue) and freshman
Preston Gerry (Gray, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) won their event with a time of 3:29.40.

Track Event Highlights:
- Junior Michael D'Amico (Belgrade Lakes, Maine/Messalonskee) placed second to Burke in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.03 seconds.
- Junior DeAnthony Evans (Westbrook, Maine) placed fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.65 seconds while senior Albert Matrille (North Waterboro, Maine/Alvirne) also finished in the top 10 with a time of 11.91 seconds to place ninth.
- Freshman Logan Berube (Turner, Maine/Leavitt Area) finished fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 23.47 seconds. Evans placed seventh at 23.72 seconds while senior Nolan Winslow (Poland, Maine) and freshman Elijah DiRisi (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) placed ninth and 10th at 24.65 seconds and 24.70 seconds.
- Senior Jordan Duplessie (Caribou, Maine) placed sixth in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:31.19.
- Junior Michael Cyr (Caribou, Maine) placed fifth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:42.84.
- Sophomore Cyrus Evans (Farmington, Maine/Mt. Blue) placed 10th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.43.
- The USM 4x100 team of Tillery, DeAnthony Evans, Berube and Matrille placed second with a time of 42.67 seconds.

Field Event Highlights:
- Sophomore Dru Hyndman (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) placed third in the long jump at 6.37m. Senior Riley Bedard (Rumford, Maine/Mountain Valley) finished sixth at 6.03m.
- Burke placed third in the pole vault at 4.45m and 10th in the javelin at 37.29m, a new personal best.
- Graduate student William Carrolton (Bath, Maine/Morse) placed fourth in the discus with a toss of 43.45m.
- D'Amico placed fifth in the pole vault at 4.30m.
- Senior Konnor Simpson (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) placed sixth in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 11.45m while freshman Tim Bowler (Danvers, Mass.) place seventh with a mark of 10.90m.
- Bowler also placed seventh in the hammer with a throw of 41.69m to move into fourth in program history.
- Freshman Trevor Amos (New Gloucester, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) placed eighth in the discus at 35.51m.
- Four Huskies, Berube, senior Jacob Jackson (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little), D'Amico and Burke, placed in the top 10 in javelin. Berube placed fifth with a throw of 46.18m followed by Jackson in sixth at 42.54m. D'Amico and Burke each set a new personal best with marks of 38.61m and 37.29m to place eighth and 10th.

The Huskies have two meets on the schedule for next weekend. Some members on the team will compete at the two-day Monks Invitational at Saint Joseph's College of Maine, while others will travel to Southern Maine Hampshire University Ed Daniels Invitational on Saturday, April 12.
